Take your Microsoft Office 2010 sales to a new dimension with our new PKC licence.
Microsoft Office 2010 is available through a variety of licensing options, including Volume, Full Packaged Product (FPP) and the new Product Key Card (PKC).
For those seeking new PCs pre-loaded with the Office 2010 single image, the new PKC option is perfect; offering a single, media-less licence that’s quick and easy to activate and available at a really competitive price point.
Designed, messaged and marketed for use with new PCs preloaded with Office 2010, this new option allows customers to purchase a 25-character product key; which can be used to activate any of the three versions of Office 2010.
Similar to the Office 2007 MLKs, PKCs serve as our everyday PC attach SKU across retail and reseller channels. Simply follow the process below to make the most of them:
|
|
|
System Builders
Step 1
Download the Microsoft Office Pre-Installation Master Kit (OPK) from Bell Micro to preload Office 2010 on all new machines.
Step 2
Purchase Product Key Cards (PKCs) from Bell Micro, no matter which version you want to sell. They don’t contain any media, only the licence key your customer needs to activate any version of Microsoft Office 2010 on their PC.
Step 3
Use your OPK to pre-install your Office image onto the newly built PCs.
Step 4
Offer your customer a PKC for their new PC. |
 |
Resellers
Step 1
Order your Microsoft Office 2010 PKCs from Bell Micro.
Step 2
Sell your customers a branded OEM PC. Offer them the opportunity to buy Microsoft Office 2010. All you need to do is provide them the PKC for any version of Office 2010.
Step 3
If PKC is not appropriate then make the most of the upsell opportunity to FPP.
